Morecambe's first Gospel Bayfest welcomes Dana and One Voice Community Choir

One Voice Community Choir were delighted to be invited to join several Christian music artists, at Morecambe’s first ever Gospel BayFest, on Saturday 30th September 2017.

Situated in the beautiful setting of “The Platform”, Morecambe, a restored Edwardian railway station, on the picturesque Morecambe promenade, One Voice Community Choir, were one of a number of acts to participate in Gospel BayFest, which took place from Friday 29th September to Saturday 30th September 2017.

The festival featured a number of Christian soloists and artists from around the British Isles, and aimed to inspire, lead and worship, through the power of music. Singing to a packed audience, One Voice Community Choir sang songs such as: Steal Away, How Excellent, We Lift Your Name Up High and featured a truly moving Solo from musical director, Tyndale Thomas MBE, in the song, His Eye Is On The Sparrow.

The uplifting weekend was hosted by the inspirational Eurovision Song Contest winner, Dana, a truly talented performer. One Voice Community Choir were honoured to sing alongside Dana, who not only wowed the audience with a mixture of Irish ballads and inspirational music,  but her candid testimony of her spiritual belief brought a tear to many. Of course, no performance could be complete without  a  rendition of her winning Eurovision song, All Kinds of Everything.
