Preston celebrates diversity at its best!

People from all backgrounds, ethnicity and cultures joined together to celebrate the wonderful “Feast for Peace” event, which took place in both the Harris Museum and Flag Market, Preston.

The event, designed to celebrate diversity of food, culture, dance and music, saw over a 1000 people participate in the party atmosphere! 

Opened by the Major of Preston, One Voice Community Choir were proud to take part in such a wonderful and eclectic event. Gwen Beattie, one of the Choir members taking part in the day, commented,  “It was great to see such a colourful collection of people, all enjoying themselves, dancing on the Flag Market. Cuisine from around the world made it even better. The veggie pakoras were delicious!”
