UDO World Street Dance Championships - Blackpool - 29th August 2010

Liz H with Twist and Pulse

Back by popular demand, One Voice Community Choir promises another stunning performance to open this year's Michael Jackson tribute concert in Blackpool. Based in Preston, this 65 piece choir recently celebrated its 10th Anniversary by performing for the Queen at Westminster Abbey. Other credits include a cameo role in the BBC drama - All the Small Things, starring Sarah Lancashire and Richard Fleeshman and recording an album at Abbey Road Studios. The choir also performed at the Jingle Ball Rock, held at the Pleasure Beach, Blackpool, alongside Beverley Knight, Pixie Lott and JLS. The choir retains a strong community spirit and supports a number of charitable causes, weddings and corporate events.

The choir performed two Michael Jackson songs - Man in the Mirror and Can You Feel It (Jacksons).  There were two shows 4.00pm and 7.30pm, which meant there was a lot of time behind the scenes watching other acts prepare for their appearance on stage.  Diversity, Ollie Murs, VICE and Twist and Pulse were all there along with dance competitors from all over the world.  Check out our performances on YouTube.
