Recorded the album – The Best Gospel Album in the World…Ever, with 100 Voices


One Voice Community Choir 10th Anniversary - 12th April 2009

location: The Charter Theatre

2009 included several high profile projects to celebrate the 10th Anniversary. These included: Performing for Her Majesty the Queen at the Commonwealth Observance at Westminster Abbey in March. Recording jingles for Rock FM's Adam at Breakfast Show. This included our new recording of Oh Happy Day - Check it out in the Sound and Vision section. One Voice Community Choir in concert at The Charter Theatre, Preston - SOLD OUT Performing at the Jingle Ball Rock at The Pleasure Beach, Blackpool alongside Beverley Knight, Pixie Lott, Newton Faulkner, The Lancashire Hotpots and JLS. Our annual Christmas Concert at St John's Minster, Preston to conclude an exciting and challenging 10th Anniversary year.

'SOUL FOOD' A Special community concert to fight local food poverty ! - 3rd September 2011

location: Salvation Army, Harrington St. Preston PR1 7BN

'SOUL FOOD' a special "admission by food" concert event which brought food help to the heart of where it is needed in Preston. No cash was required, just food donations. Over 3000 items of food were brought along and the night was something special!

Preston Guild 2012 Torchlight Procession - 8th September 2012

As part of the Guild celebrations, One Voice Community Choir took part in the torchlight procession.

One Voice Community Choir were thrilled to be invited to perform alongside Europe's leading U2 tribute band.


One Voice Community Choir in concert with Tipitina - 18th January 2013

location: The Grand, 18 York Street, Clitheroe, Lancs BB7 2DL

Tipitina are fast becoming one of the UK's finest and well loved Blues/Jazz bands. Being nominated for the British Jazz Awards 2012 is just one of their recent accolades. With two albums behind them, they continue to inspire and entertain wherever they perform. Lead vocalist Debbie Jones adds her own smokey vocals to the mix, alongside Justin Randall's keyboard prowess which would give Jools Holland a run for his money.

SUMMER CONCERT IN AID OF ROSEMERE CANCER FOUNDATION - 6th July 2013

location: Brockholes Nature Reserve, Preston New Road, Preston PR5 0AG

One Voice Community Choir is pleased to be supporting Rosemere Cancer Foundation. The concert took in the picturesque surroundings of Brockholes Nature Reserve, looking out over the lake as we performed classics such as 'Down by the Riverside' 'Oh Happy Day' and many more inspirational gems. Approx £750 was raised for the Charity and it was a very special evening indeed.
